MEET YOUR CREW: Connor Burns and Ada Cruz
Growing up beside the breathtaking shores of Cape Town, South Africa, the calm certainty of the ocean’s rhythm is ingrained in Connor’s soul. His upbringing was a mix of saltwater, sand and awesome adventures.
An opportunity of a Trans-Atlantic crossing ignited his passion for sailing. “Nothing beats the thrill of catching the wind and guiding a vessel through the water with no one in sight”. Connor was hooked! His sailing has taken him from Cape Town, to Panama, to the Mediterranean, and more recently to the Caribbean where he has run term charters within the BVI.

Connor embraces his role as a charter captain and host, introducing his charter guests to the world of sailing by curating unforgettable experiences in the beautiful setting of the Virgin Islands.

Adamaris (Ada) Cruz, a true Puerto Rican at heart. Born and raised in the beautiful town of Trujillo Alto, she has a genuine passion for all things water related, whether it’s swimming, diving, or simply enjoying the soothing sound of waves on the shore. When it comes to food, Ada is an absolute connoisseur - savoring the traditional flavors of Puerto Rican cuisine and exploring culinary delights from around the world. Ada not only appreciates good food, but she also has a true passion for cooking. Experimenting with new recipes and placing her own twist on traditional dishes, she loves the creative process of preparing delicious meals that bring people together. She has recently completed a two-week culinary course at Stir Crazy, Super Yacht Training Academy in Cape Town, South Africa.

Together, Connor and Ada create amazing charters for their guests that forge connections, take pleasure in culinary delights and create life lasting memories!

BREAKFAST

Eggs benedict topped with creamy hollandaise sauce, with your choice of crispy bacon, smoked salmon or sautéed spinach

Avocado toast with feta, topped with scrambled eggs and chili flakes

Shakshuka (baked eggs), served with sliced avocado, hummus and homemade flatbread

Apple and cinnamon spiced oatmeal, topped with fresh berries, coconut yogurt and homemade nut granola

Corn fritter stack served with poached eggs, smashed avocado, and homemade tomato chutney

French toast served with crispy bacon, caramelized bananas and toasted walnuts

Bagel spread with smoked salmon, capers, arugula, cream cheese, sliced tomato and scrambled eggs

Breakfast served with freshly baked goods or fresh fruit, and your choice of coffee, tea and juices. Bloody Marys and mimosas available on request.

LUNCH

Crispy chicken salad with orange, roasted hazelnuts and honey dressing

Pumpkin risotto, served with arugula and parmesan flakes

Fish tacos with fresh caught mahi mahi and homemade mango chutney

Thai beef salad with roast pumpkin, kaffir lime and peanuts

Sesame butterflied chicken served on a bed of rice noodles, and a side of Asian slaw

Celebration rice with saffron and sweet spiced lamb, served with a leafy green garden salad

Poke bowls with mango, avocado and sesame crusted tuna

APPETIZERS

Pear, date and walnut salad with creamy stilton dressing

Snapper ceviche with vine tomatoes, chili, orange and lime

Filo pastry quiche with sundried tomato pesto
